Social responsibility

For us, social responsibility is not just about making donations, but about conscious, long-term “building” and value creation. We believe that sustainable operation and active engagement in our communities are only credible if they are truly integrated into our daily activities. That is why we do not focus on one-off financial contributions, but rather on complex tasks that often require personal involvement, professional knowledge and human resources, and which bring about real and lasting change. The essence of our responsibility is to use our values and expertise to contribute to the development of society, the environment and our communities. This is underpinned by our professional dedication, transparent operations and belief in shared development.
The flagship of our social engagement is the ROM Vándor (Ruin Rover) programme, which aims to discover, preserve and promote our built and sacred heritage, including their exploration, professional restoration and the renewal of the environment surrounding historical monuments. As a player in the construction industry, we have created a complex, nationally expandable CSR programme spanning several years, which is closely linked to our activities, fits in with our credo, creates value and can be implemented with the involvement of our employees.
When it comes to our colleagues and corporate culture, our strategy is built around three fundamental principles: maintaining health and safety in the workplace, attracting and retaining talent, and promoting diversity and equal opportunities.
The programme began with the mapping of more than 100 medieval church and monastery ruins, and the visiting of some 50 ruins. We then selected 12 monuments for rehabilitation.
We carry out professional conservation work on medieval sacred ruins, renew their surroundings, and reinterpret their sacred and community roles using restrained contemporary architectural tools.
The involvement of relevant professional partners (or stakeholders) enables us to create real value: our projects are realised through the collaboration of architects, archaeologists, landscape architects, restorers and heritage conservation experts.
The high standard of our programme has been confirmed by several prestigious domestic and international professional awards.
We fulfil our social responsibility with credible professional partners who share our values and goals. Together, we are shaping the future.

Healthcare support
We pay special attention to the professional development and well-being of healthcare workers, contributing to their training, the improvement of their working environment and their innovative research. However, our activities go beyond the traditional focus on healthcare: we support initiatives that promote equal opportunities, physical and mental recovery after serious or long-term illness – or, in sadder cases, bereavement – and social reintegration. Our key long-term strategic partners in achieving these goals are Bátor Tábor (Brave Camp) and the Mosoly (Smile) Foundation.
Cultural support
We are dedicated to supporting contemporary art and cultural innovation. By integrating the works of emerging Hungarian artists into our architectural projects, we enhance the aesthetics of the urban environment while promoting the visibility and recognition of the domestic cultural scene. Together, we create value at the intersection of culture and architecture, as exemplified by the renovation of Péter Esterházy’s villa, a collaborative construction project. This unique community and creative space pays tribute to literary heritage and creates new values in the present.
Sports sponsorship
We believe that sport is not just a physical activity, but also conveys values that last a lifetime: competitiveness, perseverance, teamwork and fair play are all qualities that strengthen our community, develop our personalities and are also the keys to long-term success. Through our internal programmes, we encourage our employees to make regular exercise and healthy nutrition part of their daily routine. Through our external support, we actively contribute to the development of sports communities and the training of young talent. In this way, we help to promote a health-conscious lifestyle more widely in society.
Educational support
We support the professional training and talent development of the next generation in the construction industry. Through our network of university contacts, we encourage the development of young professionals while contributing to the creation of equal opportunities. In this way, we not only ensure a supply of the next generation of professionals, but also strengthen the competitiveness of the market in the long term. Among our initiatives, our own KarrierÉpítő (CareerBuilder) internship programme, our active participation as co-founder of Tudásépítő-Team Ágazati Képzőközpont Nonprofit Zrt. (Knowledge Builder Team Sector Training Centre Non-Profit Ltd.), and the Tanítsunk Magyarországért (Let’s Teach for Hungary) collaboration play a prominent role.
One of the cornerstones of our company’s social responsibility strategy is the active involvement of our employees in community initiatives. Numerous studies confirm that employee participation in social responsibility programmes strengthens organisational commitment, develops community skills and contributes to the sustainable development of corporate culture in the long term.
In recent years, our employees have participated in numerous socially beneficial projects, including fundraising campaigns, community space renovations, and environmental improvement projects. These activities have a dual impact: first, they make a tangible contribution to the life of local communities, and second, they strengthen our employees’ sense of social responsibility and willingness to cooperate.
Through this approach, our company is not only present in society as a supporter, but also as a catalyst, providing our employees with the opportunity to participate directly and experience the value creation and assistance. This model contributes to responsible operation, the strengthening of community cohesion and the long-term social embeddedness of the company.
