Developed for Hungaropharma Zrt., the BLKII logistics centre represents a state-of-the-art pharmaceutical wholesale warehouse, setting new standards even at the Central European level. The facility was designed to ensure continuous and reliable medicine supply, optimal storage of central inventories and emergency reserves, and the efficient support of logistics processes. The construction was carried out between 2022 and 2023 by Market Építő Zrt. as the general contractor.

The comprehensive construction works encompassed earthworks, monolithic reinforced concrete structures, the erection of steel frameworks, and all architectural, mechanical, and electrical installations. Additionally, our company managed the utility and road construction works associated with the development, thereby ensuring the logistics centre’s full functionality and the optimal operation of its warehouse units.

Throughout the development project, special attention was paid to structural stability, the optimisation of logistics spaces, and the integration of cutting-edge industrial equipment. The automated high-bay warehouse, completed in the third phase of development, covers an area of 3,000 m² and provides storage capacity for 20,000 pallets, increasing the total warehouse area of the logistics centre to 18,500 m².

The construction process prioritised compliance with stringent quality standards, adherence to deadlines, and the application of sustainable and energy-efficient design principles. The completed facility is capable of fulfilling 12,000 orders per day, enabling Hungaropharma Zrt. to efficiently distribute over 18,500 products, thereby significantly enhancing the company’s logistics performance and supporting the modernisation of its business operations.
