The Euromedic logistics hall, dedicated to healthcare services, is a modern 8,000-square-metre facility that also includes a 1,200-square-metre mezzanine and 1,400 square metres of office space. The hall has been constructed with three cold storage units designed to meet specific pharmaceutical requirements, ensuring professional, temperature- and humidity-controlled storage for the products. The warehouse area can be leased in modular units, offering a flexible solution for various logistical needs.

The project was executed by Market Építő Zrt., with several subsidiaries of the Market Group also contributing to its realisation, including OKM Építőipari és Szolgáltató Kft., PREbeton Zrt., Moratus Szerkezetépítő Kft., MRKT Padló Kft., and MCM Beton Kft., all of which played significant roles in the construction works.

During the project, approximately 35,000 cubic metres of soil were moved, and 18,000 square metres of surface were stabilised. The foundation works were completed within just four weeks, and by the fiftieth day, the entire reinforced concrete structure of the building was already in place. Meeting the high mechanical engineering requirements was a top priority throughout the construction process, as pharmaceutical logistics demand strict standards for air conditioning control and safety systems. Accordingly, the entire hall was equipped with a state-of-the-art monitoring system and mechanical engineering infrastructure.

The project presented a number of complex challenges. The site initially lacked utility connections, so electricity for the construction works was supplied via a rented generator, while our colleagues solved the water supply problem with the help of a nearby concrete plant. Earthworks were carried out under archaeological supervision, adding further organisational and scheduling challenges. Additionally, several modifications to the client’s requirements necessitated repeated redesigns, demanding continuous flexibility and rapid adaptation from the project team.

The facility, handed over in 2024, has also been designed with future expansion in mind, allowing for an additional 4,000–5,000 square metres of space. This ensures that the building will be capable of accommodating the growing logistical and pharmaceutical demands in the long term.
