SIAD Plant

The gas plant of SIAD Hungary Kft. in Gyöngyöshalász, built with an investment of HUF 12 billion, was constructed under the general construction of Market Építő Zrt. and is one of the most modern nitrogen, oxygen and argon production plants in the world. The SIAD Group is an Italian-headquartered company with a presence in more than 14 countries, and its new unit in Hungary is a strategic step in the company’s regional expansion.

The plant is fully automated and has a high technological standard. Its unique feature is that it can operate without waste or emissions, thus meeting the most stringent environmental standards. The aim of the development was not only to provide SIAD’s gas products for the Hungarian industrial and medical market from domestic production, but also to serve the needs of the neighbouring Apollo Tyres factory as a strategic supplier.

Market Építő Zrt. completed an industrial hall of nearly 8,000 square metres and associated technology, office and service buildings. A major focus of the works was the integration of the complex technological system into the building and the construction of the necessary special infrastructure.

During the project, Market Építő Zrt. not only performed the construction tasks to a high standard, but also contributed with its cooperation and flexibility to the timely completion of the SIAD plant in accordance with the client’s requirements.
