Nestlé Purina’s new factory in Bük is one of Hungary’s most prominent industrial investments, playing a significant role not only in the economic life of the region, but also in the country. It is a unique technological development even on a global scale, applying the most modern solutions in the field of animal feed production.
This investment is part of one of the largest equity developments in Nestlé Hungary’s history, totalling HUF 43 billion, which has been implemented in several phases at the Bük site in recent years. The company has thus further strengthened its position as Hungary’s largest Swiss investor and employer.
Market Építő Zrt. played an active role in the construction of the factory as the contractor of the project, bringing its professional experience and high quality standards to bear in the realisation of the industrial facility. Market Építő Zrt. was responsible for the complex structural and building works of the plant, ensuring high technical standards and meeting deadlines.
During the construction of the facility, particular attention was paid to environmentally friendly and sustainable solutions, energy efficiency and modern automated production processes. The modern infrastructure, innovative technological solutions and high quality architecture and engineering have made the Nestlé Purina plant in Bük one of the most important pet food production centres in Hungary.
With the construction of the plant, Nestlé Purina provides jobs for nearly 1,000 people in Hungary and 90% of its products are exported to more than 40 countries every day. The production capacity is extremely high, with the facility capable of producing more than one million products per day and dispatching around 50 truckloads of goods per day.
