Elysium apartment complex

The Elysium Residential Park is a unique example of architectural excellence born from respecting the values of the past. Situated on the top of Rózsadomb, the building originally operated as a SZOT hotel. After a complete demolition of the structurally outdated block, our company rebuilt it as a brand-new structure by 2020. The project aimed to create uncompromising, understatedly elegant homes that meet the highest expectations – both aesthetically, technologically, and in terms of sustainability.

Special attention was paid to the protection of the Molnár János Cave – a nearly 7 km long active cave system located beneath the building and frequently visited by divers. The construction methods were defined by maximum environmental care; demolished materials were sorted, crushed, and recycled on-site for foundation works, significantly reducing the ecological footprint of the project.

The new Elysium was developed on a 22,653 m² plot, of which more than 70%, approximately 16,136 m², was preserved as green area, surrounded by an ancient tree park enveloping the residential building. The form of the building, consisting of curved and straight lines, recalls the original building silhouette while carrying a completely new structure and function. Every apartment offers panoramic views of the Danube, the Parliament, and Buda Castle, as well as spacious, large terraces.

The interior design concept merges classic elegance with contemporary forms: onyx cladding, gold-mesh wallpaper, Italian designer furniture, glass surfaces, and oversized Gres tiles characterize the spaces. The lobby with its more than 6-meter-high backlit onyx wall and the unique Lasvit chandelier placed within it represent one of the project’s visual highlights.

The list of premium services is also exceptional: wellness and fitness areas, yoga and massage rooms, communal and private sauna zones, running track, playground, car wash, laundry, and concierge station complete the uncompromising living experience. The residential park is equipped with a smart home system and central building automation network, which automates shading, heating-cooling, lighting, and ventilation.
